The Giving Touch Massage School
HOLISTIC PRACTICE
PHILOSOPHY

The Giving Touch massage school is a social-entrepreneurship based upon the principle of "Accessibility and Opportunity through Massage" ©
Our emphasis is upon providing training and job placement assistance to Americans of need.
We are passionate in our belief that massage therapy is more than just relaxing in a spa, it can be a transformative experience for the student, the practitioner, and the recipient.
Training in massage therapy via our 12 week Fast-Track hands-on program, our students are provided a sense of hope for the future, and are able to join a growing global profession that provides flexible work schedule, mobility, and employment that only requires a GED and a kind, committed heart.
With a market-based approach, we emphasize creating an environment in which our students know that they are welcome, respected, valued, and belong. Each student naturally moves through significant personal growth as they train in massage therapy every day.
They also learn to recognize that they are able to join a profession that helps others to feel better, be it via therapeutic massage techniques, stress-release, or the simple focus of positive intention and caring touch.
Together, we are Giving Touch...
"When you touch one thing with deep awareness,
you touch everything."
- Lao Tzu
Foot Reflexology (40-Minutes)
Student Massage
Western-style Foot Reflexology is a relaxing and therapeutic treatment that focuses upon the pressure points located throughout the soles the feet. A smooth flow between each movement allows for a relaxing yet therapeutic treatment. Great as an add-on to any treatment.
SWEDISH MASSAGE (60-Minutes)
Massage oil or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. It is a classic massage that will ease your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation.
NEPALI MASSAGE (90-Minutes)
Nepali Ayurvedic Massage is dramatically different than the South-Indian / Kerala Ayurvedic tradition. Emphasizing circular strokes, pressure points, and intentional holds, it is a complex massage that requires 90 minutes to truly appreciate. By far our favorite massage modality, and the only school that teaches this technique.
FOOT BATH (15-Minutes)
Each treatment can include a soothing warm Foot Bath with Epsom Salt and Essential Oils!
